A lift-off of migrants from the Houston area
that had been grounded by several days of bad weather.
This occurred just a dark on the evening of April 10.
A lift-off from the Lake Charles area on the same evening.

Velocity image - 4/13/07.  The blue and green areas are birds moving toward the radar station, and the red, orange, and yellow are birds moving away from the station.  The darker the color, the faster the speed. The same radar, but one that shows base reflectivity.  The darker areas represent greater densities of birds.
