It was a great last day at the hawk watch today. Blue skies with lots of clouds made looking for birds easy. Amid the scores of Turkey Vultures we found a few raptors still making their way south. Also three (or possibly four) late Wood Storks, lots of white pelicans, a lone Anhinga, and lots of Greater white-fronted Geese. Lots of goldfinches moving through too. Dave Hanson and Sarah Harrison came by to help and say goodbye to Bob. We will see you all next year! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped this year and everyone who donated. We appreciate you so much!
