Turkey Vulture 52 Northern Harrier 7 Sharp-shinned Hawk 17 Cooper’s Hawk 11 Unidentified accipiter 1 Broad-winged Hawk 4 Red-tailed Hawk 18 The wind was strong out of the north and brought those Red-tails! Lost an hour to rain in the morning but it brightened up again around 10:00.

Tad reports 20 migrating raptors today. Turkey Vulture 11 Northern Harrier 4 White-tailed Kite 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk 1 American Kestrel 3 Strong south winds shut down the hawk migration. The two Western Kingbirds continue! Sixteen Snow Geese flew low over the tower in the morning.

Bob reports two migrating raptors today. Northern Harrier 1 Sharp-shinned Hawk 1 Strong south winds cut down the flight today. Other birds of note were two Common Loons out in the bay, 16 White-faced Ibis and four Scissor-tailed Flycatchers still hanging around.
