Guided Fly Fishing & Wildlife Viewing

Enjoy a day of guided fly fishing and wildlife viewing in the shallow southeast Texas coastal waters. USCG licensed guide and birder Capt. Matt Simpson will take you out in his 18 foot flats skiff to experience the beauty and amazing fishing and birdwatching opportunities in our coastal shallow waters. After a comfortable boat ride to your destination, be one with nature as you are quietly moved by push pole through just inches of water through coastal flats abundant with life. Stand on the bow platform to get a great view of the area. Watch coastal birds.  Spot a redfish or trout in the water and sightcast a proven hand-tied fly to the fish.  Then enjoy the exhilaration of bringing it to the boat with a fly rod. Catch and release recommended due to the ongoing recovery of the fish population after the freeze.

All gear is provided, as is a lunch with homemade goodies. Fly fishing lessons provided if desired. Conventional gear available. Meet at an agreed upon boat ramp along the Brazoria or Galveston counties coast line. Fishing license required. For 1-2 people. Date to be set between auction winner and guide and his availability.
